Baby Piercing

FAQ's

How much will my piercing cost?

I charge $60 per piercing which will include basic jewelry. All piercings must be done with jewelry that I supply from my reputable suppliers. This price is for each individual piercing meaning if I pierce with a needle followed by inserting jewelry, the starting price is $60 each. If you want 2 piercings (even pairs) you will be charged 2- $60 fees. Please private message me for pricing on surface piercings or below the belt piercings.

I sell aftercare that I highly suggest getting at the time of your service. If not purchased here, you will need to buy aftercare to take care of your piercing(s).

When are you available?

I take walk-ins Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday from 1-8pm. I also book appointments Sundays, Mondays, & Thursdays along with later hours after 8pm on walk-in days.

What is required for minors to get pierced?

I do body piercings (excluding private piercings and surface piercings which are 18 & up only) on ages 16 and up. All minors must have their birth certificate with them and be accompanied by their parent with photo IDs.

I pierce earlobes for babies aged 3 - 12 months. Then once again when the child is old enough to comprehend consent and aftercare. This is usually around 7 years old. For babies I require you bring a blanket to swaddle the baby along with another person that you trust to assist in holding the baby secure in order to safely perform the piercings.

I do not pierce anything but ear lobes on anyone under 16 years old. I do not perform any private piercings on minors! NO EXCEPTIONS!

Resizing Jewelry

Some piercings must be done with posts that are long enough to accommodate for swelling. Once the initial stages of healing are complete it is important to downsize the post to fit your body properly. If you were pierced with a longer jewelry post come visit me for a downsizing after about a month of healing.

DO NOTS

DON'T change or remove your jewelry before it is completely healed!

DON'T soak in public water. No pools, hot tubs, oceans, or swimming of any kind until your new piercing is healed.

DON'T twist, tug, or play with your jewelry. LEAVE IT ALONE!

DON'T use alcohol, peroxide, or any medicated ointments on your piercing! You want to slow heal the wound to stay open for your jewelry, not shrink or close the hole.

Important Aftercare

Always wash your hands before touching your piercing or jewelry!

Soak your piercing with a wound wash saline mixture for a few minutes. After soaking, wipe away any loose crust with a wet cotton swab or the corner of a folded paper towel. Pat dry after cleaning. Clean your piercing daily as needed. Do not over clean your piercing. Remember, this is a wound and can become inflamed and/or irritated. Less is more with healing your piercing. If it is not crusty or dirty, leave it alone! Always pat dry your jewlery after cleaning.

Use Saline soaks to care for your piercing during the entire healing time.

You may purchase a pre-made Saline mixture from me here at Kreative Ink or at any pharmacy. When using a brand name Saline, follow the instructions on the bottle.

Dissolve 1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon (a pinch) of non-iodized sea salt into One cup (8 ounces) of hot/warm distilled water.

Bulk Saline mixture: 1 Gallon of distilled water and 4 teaspoons of non-iodized sea salt.

A stronger mixture is NOT better! A saline that has too much salt will dry out your skin & irritate your piercing.

Oral Piercings

Tongue Blurple

Rinse your mouth with an Alcohol-free mouthwash after every meal, drink, smoke, or anything that dirties your mouth and piercing.

Ice and ibuprofen may be used within reason to help control swelling.

Avoid eating salty & spicy foods with a fresh piercing in your mouth. With tongue piercings you'll want to eat softer foods that you can swallow easily without needing to chew much.

Allow your tongue to rest as much as possible to allow it to heal quickly.
